In this video, I'll show how to fix the problem of Battlefield 4 stuck "joining server" indefinitely, or "forever", when the user can't join a multiplayer server because the game freezes or stays in this same state forever. This can be a frustrating experience because it prevents users from joining multiplayer Battlefield 4 battles. In this problem, players are "stuck" in the "joining multiplayer server" screen forever, not being able to actually play the game. Due to this problem, some players can't join multiplayer servers in BF4.
To fix this,
1. Go to Options
2. Go to Video
3. Turn OFF Vertical Sync
4. Press the "Escape" key two times
5. Click "Yes"
Also, turn off vertical sync in any other software you may have installed that is capable of forcing vertical sync, such as Nvidia Control Panel and AMD Settings, among others. Any software capable of forcing vertycal sync may cause this problem in BF4.
Moreover, you must also make sure to turn off any that of frame limiting setting that you may be using in programs, such as Nvidia app and RivaTuner, among others. Any program that is capable of limiting the frame rates of your screen can influence on the freezing in Battlefield 4 when joining a multiplayer match. For this reason, before playing Battlefield 4, make sure to either quit these programs, or to turn off the frame limitting effect.
